On December 10, 2022, the NDC’s National Youth and Women’s Congress in Cape Coast,
Central Region, reported violent disturbances; so far, 16 people have been declared wanted in
connection with the violence.
According to the police, the disturbances caused by these individuals resulted in three people
being injured and property being destroyed.
According to the police, the suspects are members of two rival groups.
While the Congress was in session, two rival groups clashed violently, throwing stones, blocks,
sticks, clubs, and chairs, among other things, injuring three people and destroying property.
A reward of $10,000 has been set aside for any member of the public who can provide credible
information to police that leads to an arrest.
