The intensity of the rainfall, accompanied by thunderclaps, has contributed to the severity of the flooding. Concerned motorists have taken to social media to share images and videos of the flooded streets, alerting others to the challenging road conditions.
In one video, a man is seen standing atop his partially submerged vehicle in the floodwaters, highlighting the hazardous conditions caused by the downpour.
