Ghanaian TikTok sensation Gloria Enyonam, popularly known as Frafrahemaa, recently took to social media to criticize musician Shatta Wale for his comments about renting apartments for his mother. Frafrahemaa questioned the decision of Shatta Wale, who often portrays himself as a billionaire, to rent for his mother instead of buying her a house.
In her critique, Frafrahemaa suggested that Shatta Wale’s actions were not in line with his claims of wealth. She expressed disappointment, stating that it makes no sense for someone who claims to be a billionaire to not provide a more permanent housing solution for his mother. Frafrahemaa also accused Shatta Wale of being too fond of “fooling” and suggested that his fans are not honest with him.
This is not the first time Frafrahemaa has been outspoken about Ghanaian celebrities. She also had words of criticism for Fella Makafui and Naana Brown, whom she slammed alongside Shatta Wale. Frafrahemaa’s comments have sparked a debate on social media, with some supporting her views and others defending Shatta Wale.
Shatta Wale has yet to respond to Frafrahemaa’s comments. However, his fans have come to his defense, citing his numerous philanthropic efforts and suggesting that he may have his reasons for choosing to rent for his mother. Regardless, Frafrahemaa’s critique has once again highlighted the complexities of fame and wealth in the Ghanaian entertainment industry.
