Emerging sensational Afro Reggae Dancehall singer Picoshantireleases a video of his banging hit song on Ranking Family’sfirst major Ghana-Jamaican project for the year dubbedGuidance Riddim album. The song which is entitled “Jah nuh go shame us” was produced by Shelly Vybz (who also doubles as an artist) in the Jungle Yard studio inside Mataheko a suburb of Accra. It touches on the life experiences of the artist and that of several other individuals struggling to survive or make it in life .
“Jah nuh go shame us” is one of 30 songs on a Ghana-Jamaicanreggae dancehall album dubbed Guidance Riddim album which was put together by Ranking Family Entertainment andlaunched on 13th March,2021. The audio which can be purchased or streamed on the Grinomusic app on Google play store has proven to be a household inspirational song on the lips of everyhustler on the streets of Accra.
It comes with a colorful video which was released on June 7th on YouTube. It seeks to encourage and motivate the average Ghanaian youth to work harder and look up to ALMIGHTY GOD in everything in spite of prevailing challenges and hardships in the country especially in these days that there is an out cry for the government to fix the economy of Ghana.
Originally born Asare-Addo Paul to Hannah Asare and the late Kofi Asare on May 15th in the mid 80s at Tudu in Accra, Picoshanti who is also known as World Cryah (Crier) and Gonggong Souljah is determined to put Ghana on the world map by winning international awards like BET,IRAWMA andGrammy for the country with his authentic Afro Reggae Dancehall music genre. Although he’s not signed to any record label at the moment, Picoshanti is greatly supported by his music group Souljah Gong Nation, Life empire and Ranking family movement.
The Guidance Riddim album has 25 Ghanaian artists including ace reggae dancehall legend Sugar Ranking,Linguakat,Jahlead,Bukom Dancehall, Method Ranking,Wanrow,Nature Ranks, Captain Cuk,Abashanty,Lasborn Royal ,Shelly Vybz and Picoshantiamong others and of course 5 Jamaican budding artists includingJah Dean,Ibrill,Firewit, Diago Baddis and Chemikal all singing on the Guidance Riddim engineered by Shelly Vybz.
