Atlantic Lithium Limited has been granted approval by the Listing Committee of the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) and Ghana’s Securities and Exchange Commission to list its ordinary shares on the Main Market of the GSE.
This milestone makes Atlantic Lithium the first near-term lithium producer in Ghana to achieve a listing on the GSE.
The listing price for Atlantic Lithium’s shares on the GSE is set at GH₵3.34, based on the Primary Listing Market per the company’s prospectus. Black Star Brokerage Limited is serving as the Transaction Advisor, Sponsoring Broker, and Arranger for the listing.
Atlantic Lithium is an African-focused lithium exploration and development company, with its flagship project being the Ewoyaa Lithium Project in Ghana’s Central Region. The project is expected to become Ghana’s first lithium mine, producing 365,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate annually, positioning it as one of the largest spodumene mines globally.
The company’s listing on the GSE aims to expand its investor base, enhance visibility within Ghana and globally, and create wealth-building opportunities for Ghanaians and local financial institutions. This listing underscores Atlantic Lithium’s commitment to Ghana’s long-term economic development, enabling local stakeholders to participate in the country’s critical mineral production objectives.
The listing on the GSE will not involve the issuance of new Atlantic Lithium shares and will have no impact on the company’s listings on AIM or the Australian Securities Exchange.
Neil Herbert, Executive Chairman of Atlantic Lithium, expressed pride in becoming the first lithium company to commence trading on the Ghana Stock Exchange. He reiterated the company’s dedication to advancing Ghana’s lithium production ambitions and delivering lasting benefits to the country and its people.
Atlantic Lithium’s journey in Ghana began in 2016 with initial exploration activities, culminating in this significant milestone of listing on the GSE.
