The Ghana U-17 women football team, Black Maidens are preparing to face their Senegalese counterpart. This is in preparation towards the U-17 world Cup qualifiers. Read the content from the Ghana Football Association below:
Team Training
The Maidens held their first training session at the Diambars. the Football Academy training complex in Sally, Mbour Senegal on Thursday, March 3, 2022.
The training session had all Twenty-two players take part in a combined recovery before breaking into various groups for the full session.
Friday, March 4 is scheduled for an official training at Stade Lat Dior in Thies. This is ahead of the game on Saturday, March 5.
They have recorded No injuries so far. The players are high in spirit for the task ahead.
U-17 World Championship
Baba Nuhu and his charges are keen on securing the first-leg win against the young Terenga Lionesses of Senegal. To set the tone for the rest of the qualifiers for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, India 2022. Their Senegalese counterpart could pose a threat that would suprise the Black little Maidens.
