A Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) footage has surfaced depicting the alleged robbery and murder committed by 20-year-old Mohammed Abdullah against a 74-year-old stroke patient in her three-bedroom house in Kasoa Lamtey.
The tragic incident unfolded near Balloon Hotel in the Awutu Senya East district of the Central region. The prosecutor revealed that the suspect restrained the sick elderly woman with a rope, slit her throat, and proceeded to ransack the premises, stealing valuable items alongside an undisclosed sum of money.
Fortunately, the heinous crime was captured by a CCTV camera within the house premises.
In light of the appalling events, the accused, Mohammed Abdullah, has been remanded for his alleged involvement in the robbery and murder of the elderly stroke patient.
