The nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards have been revealed.
Set to honor the outstanding achievements in music from October 1, 2022, to September 15, 2023, the 66th annual Grammy Awards will celebrate Music’s Biggest Night. With a whopping 94 Grammy categories, there’s a lot to explore among the nominees.
Presented during a livestream event in November 2023, notable musicians like St. Vincent, Muni Long, Kim Petras, and Jon Bon Jovi announced the nominees.
Leading the nominations is SZA with a total of 9 nods. Following closely are Victoria Monét, Phoebe Bridgers (including her work with Boygenius), and audio engineer Serban Ghenea, each with 7 nominations.
Notable first-time nominees this year include Tyla, Troye Sivan, Coco Jones, Ice Spice, Gracie Abrams, and Ayra Starr. A particularly special mention goes to Victoria Monét’s 2-year-old daughter Hazel, making her the youngest nominee in Grammy history for her feature on her mom’s record “Hollywood.”
Excitingly, three new categories have been added this year: Best Alternative Jazz Album, Best Pop Dance Recording, and Best African Music Performance.
Some of the brightest stars and revered music legends will grace the stage at the awards, including Burna Boy with 21 Savage, R&B icon Brandy, Luke Combs with singer-songwriter Tracy Chapman, trailblazer Joni Mitchell with Brandi Carlile, SZA, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, and Olivia Rodrigo, among others.
Comedian Trevor Noah will host the 2024 Grammy Awards, broadcasting live from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Dive into the full list of 2024 Grammy nominations below.
