The Ghana Football Association has officially announced the dismissal of Chris Hughton from his position as head coach of the Ghana Black Stars following their underwhelming performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). The announcement was made through a statement on the association’s website, stating, “The Ghana Football Association wishes to announce that Chris Hughton has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the senior National team with immediate effect.”
