Jeremy Moussa threw one touchdown pass and ran for another, and Florida A&M was able to stop Grambling’s late rally in the fourth quarter in a 20-16 win Saturday in Grambling, La.
Following a Florida A&M field goal by Jose Romo-Martinez, Grambling tried to score a game-winning touchdown as time wore down. But Julian Calvez’s fourth-down pass fell incomplete for the Tigers as time ran out.
Moussa finished with 226 yards passing, and had a four-yard touchdown pass to Jeremiah Pruitte. The Rattlers improve to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the SWAC, while Grambling falls to 1-6, 0-4

The Rattlers (4-2, 2-1 SWAC) extended their winning streak to four after beating reigning HBCU Celebration Bowl champions, South Carolina State, 20-14.
The Tigers (1-5, 0-3 SWAC) fell to Alabama A&M, 37-31 in a double overtime battle.
Last season, FAMU defeated Grambling State, 26-3 for its homecoming football at Bragg Memorial Stadium.
The Rattlers are 9-2 on the road against FCS teams during coach Willie Simmons’ tenure.
