You know <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1824864/dak-prescott/">Dak Prescott</a> (thumb) is expected to return to the <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/DAL/dallas-cowboys/">Cowboys</a> this week, but we also learned Tuesday that <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1737096/keenan-allen/">Keenan Allen</a> (hamstring) has a chance to play against the <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/SEA/seattle-seahawks/">Seahawks</a> -- coach Brandon Staley told reporters he expects Allen to <a href="https://twitter.com/JeffMillerLAT/status/1582480661708881920" target="_blank" rel="noopener">practice in full</a> this week.<br> Of course, not all of the news is good news, because it never is. We'll have a full rundown on all of the injuries for Week 7 you need to know about in tomorrow's newsletter, but just know that it doesn't look like <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1975895/michael-thomas/">Michael Thomas</a> (foot), <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1824833/jarvis-landry/">Jarvis Landry</a> (ankle), or <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2071585/james-conner/">James Conner</a> (ribs) are likely to play Thursday. None of them have practiced yet, although <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2963666/chris-olave/">Chris Olave</a> (concussion) has been fully cleared in continuing with the good news theme. <br>There's no such good news for the <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/DEN/denver-broncos/">Broncos</a>, as we also learned that <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1272242/russell-wilson/">Russell Wilson</a> has a hamstring injury that could cause him to miss some time. Wilson has been terrible this season, but I'd bet on <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2181392/brett-rypien/">Brett Rypien</a> being worse, so we'll have to keep an eye on that one -- the Broncos might be an offense to avoid entirely if Wilson has to miss time. <br>We'll have more tomorrow -- plus, Jamey Eisenberg's Start 'Em & Sit 'Em calls later tonight -- but for now let's get to today's newsletter, where we're previewing each position for Week 7 and talking trade targets. Here's a brief rundown of each position, along with some key details you need to know about and our expert consensus rankings before you go read Heath's full breakdowns:  <br>"Every year we dub one week of byes the Bye-nado, and with the <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/BUF/buffalo-bills/">Bills</a>, <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/MIN/minnesota-vikings/">Vikings</a>, <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/LAR/los-angeles-rams/">Rams</a>, and <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/PHI/philadelphia-eagles/">Eagles</a> on a bye in Week 7, this feels like as good as any. We're missing two of the top four quarterbacks in Fantasy in <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2181054/josh-allen/">Josh Allen</a> and <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2240246/jalen-hurts/">Jalen Hurts</a>, and a pair of guys we expected to be borderline starters in <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1114942/matthew-stafford/">Matthew Stafford</a> and <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1272574/kirk-cousins/">Kirk Cousins</a>. Thankfully, we're also getting back a pair of must-start options."<br><strong>*<span class="link"><a href="https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/fantasy-football-week-7-quarterback-rankings-dak-prescott-returns-to-the-top-12-at-a-weak-position/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My QB Rankings</a></span></strong><br> <br>"Ezekiel Elliott has scored exactly 10 Fantasy points per game and enters Week 7 as the No. 38 running back in <a href="/fantasy/football/" data-is-autolink="true">Fantasy Football</a> on a per-game basis. That's one spot higher than his teammate <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2184011/tony-pollard/">Tony Pollard</a>. As someone who called Elliott a bust in the preseason, even I didn't expect the results to be quite this bad. I also expect them to start getting better in Week 7."<br><strong>*<span class="link"><a href="https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/fantasy-football-week-7-running-back-rankings-is-dandre-swift-back-to-being-a-must-start/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My RB Rankings</a></span></strong><br>"In Week 6 the <a class="Annotation-link" href="https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/teams/ARI/arizona-cardinals/">Arizona Cardinals</a> lost <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2804128/marquise-brown/">Marquise Brown</a> for an extended period, possibly the rest of the season, due to a foot injury. In Week 7, they'll welcome back <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1737078/deandre-hopkins/">DeAndre Hopkins</a>. In the same week, they're adding <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/1886746/robbie-anderson/">Robbie Anderson</a>. Now is the time for us to make our best guesses what this passing game will look like. <br> <br>"Without Brown, Hopkins should be the clear alpha wide receiver ..." <br><strong>*<span class="link"><a href="https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/fantasy-football-week-7-wide-receiver-rankings-deandre-hopkins-is-back-and-yes-youre-starting-him/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My WR Rankings</a></span></strong><br>"A touchdown bailed out Fantasy owners who trusted <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2964514/kyle-pitts/">Kyle Pitts</a> in Week 6. It may have also provided one last off-ramp if you're looking to move him.<br>"While Pitts did score in Week 6 he also posted 19 yards for the third time this season. He was also out-targeted by both <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/3127902/drake-london/">Drake London</a> and <a class="Annotation-link" href="/fantasy/football/players/2186266/olamide-zaccheaus/">Olamide Zaccheaus</a>. Pitts is clearly not the No. 1 option in this offense like he was in the second half of 2021, and the pie has shrunk considerably." <br><strong>*<span class="link"><a href="https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/fantasy-football-week-7-tight-end-rankings-you-should-probably-still-be-starting-kyle-pitts/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">My TE Rankings</a></span></strong><br>Last week, I advocated for Marquise Brown as a buy-high candidate. Hopefully you weren't able to successfully pull off any moves for him, because he's going to miss a significant amount of time with a foot injury. That's bad news for him, obviously, but also for Kyler Murray and this entire Cardinals offense that was just about to get DeAndre Hopkins back from his suspension. I had Murray as a buy-low candidate last week, so that one stings doubly. <br>Of course, nobody can see the future, especially when it comes to injuries. That was just bad luck, but it's the kind of bad luck that may have left your team in a hole. Let's see if we can't help out there.
