The Black Stars of Ghana held their first training session ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup on Monday, as days count down to the tournament.
Twenty-three players, including home-based duo Danlad Ibrahim and Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, were present at practice.
The rest of the players – namely Alexander Djiku, Joseph Aidoo and Kamaldeen Sulemana – are expected to join the team in UAE on Tuesday.
The Black Stars will continue preparations on Tuesday, before facing Switzerland on Thursday in their final friendly before the World Cup.

The four-time African champions have been drawn in the same group as 2016 European champions Portugal, Asian giants South Korea and perennial qualifiers Uruguay.
Ghana will open her World Cup campaign with a clash against Portugal on November 24.
Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Danlad Ibrahim, Lawrence Ati-Zigi, Nurudeen Abdul Manaf, Mohammed Salisu, Daniel Amartey, Denis Odoi, Baba Abdul Rahman, Gideon Mensah, Alidu Seidu, Salis Abdul Samed, Elisha Owusu, Kamal Sowah, Antoine Semenyo, Tariq Lamptey, Osman Bukari, Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, Daniel Barnieh Afriyie, Mohammed Kudus and Daniel Kofi Kyereh.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Otto Addo has announced his final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

At a press conference in Accra, the 47-year-old named his team with several of the notable names making his squad.
Conspicuously missing are Joseph Paintsil of KRC Genk, Majeed Ashimeru of Anderlecht and Cremonese's Felix Afena-Gyan.
Fans of the Ghanaian national football team have stormed the city of Doha in jubilant mood, as they await the Black Stars' arrival.
The Black Stars are expected to arrive in Qatar this week ahead of the commencement of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
In a video posted on social media, hundreds of fans took to Qatar's capital to sing and dance, in anticipation of the Mundial's kickoff.
