The Ghana Police Service has requested the presence of politician Kwame Asare Obeng, known as A Plus, to assist in the ongoing investigation into the murder of journalist Ahmed Suale. This development follows a video released by A Plus in which he claimed to know who orchestrated the assassination of the Tiger Eye PI journalist.
Ahmed Suale was tragically killed by unknown assailants after his identity as a journalist working with Anas Aremeyaw Anas was revealed by politician Kennedy Agyapong. Despite thorough investigations, the culprits remain at large.
In light of A Plus’s revelations, the Ghana Police issued a statement on July 15, 2024, inviting him to share the information he possesses. The Cold Case Unit, a division of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) established in October 2021, is handling the case and has been in continuous communication with Suale’s family.
The police have expressed their appreciation for A Plus’s willingness to come forward, as his insights could significantly advance the investigation and bring justice for Ahmed Suale.
