Luke Combs, Travis Scott, and Burna Boy have been confirmed as additions to the performer lineup for the upcoming 66th annual Grammy Awards, as announced by the Recording Academy on Sunday.
The announcement follows last week’s reveal of performers, including Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Olivia Rodrigo, for the highly anticipated music event scheduled for 8 p.m. EST on Feb. 4. The live broadcast will air on CBS and stream on Paramount+.
Burna Boy, a three-time Grammy winner, is nominated in four categories this year, showcasing his diverse musical talent. Luke Combs is vying for the Best Country Solo Performance award, marking his seventh Grammy nomination. Travis Scott, with his 10th Grammy Award nomination, competes for the Best Rap Album category with “Utopia.”
The announcement was strategically made during the AFC Divisional playoff game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills, adding excitement to the anticipation of the Grammy Awards. CBS, the long-time broadcaster of the Grammys since 1973, continues to bring the prestigious music event to audiences worldwide.
Notably, both Billie Eilish and Olivia Rodrigo have received six Grammy nominations this year, while R&B star SZA leads with nine nominations.
In addition to the musical highlights, the ceremony promises to deliver a captivating and star-studded evening, showcasing the best talents in the music industry.
