Israeli Forces Conduct Raids in Ramallah Amid Escalating Conflict

Israeli forces launched raids in Ramallah and other West Bank cities, intensifying the ongoing conflict with Hamas. At least seven Palestinians were reported killed in an Israeli attack on the Nuseirat camp, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa. The ground operation expanded into central Gaza on Wednesday, marking a significant escalation in hostilities.

As the conflict unfolds, tens of thousands of Palestinians are fleeing central Gaza and Khan Younis, attempting to escape the Israeli attacks, according to the World Health Organization. The situation remains dire, with reports of casualties and injuries mounting on both sides.

Casualty Figures: Gaza:

  • Killed: 21,110
  • Injured: 55,243
  • Missing: More than 7,000

Occupied West Bank:

  • Killed: 313
  • Injured: More than 3,450

Israel:

  • Killed: 1,139 (since October 7)
  • Israeli soldiers killed: 167 (since the ground invasion of Gaza on October 31)
  • Injured: 898 wounded soldiers

These figures, reported by the Palestinian Health Ministry, the Israeli army, and the Israeli social security agency, underscore the devastating impact of the conflict on civilian populations and military personnel.

The situation in the region remains fluid, with concerns growing over the humanitarian crisis and the potential for further escalation. International diplomatic efforts are underway to seek a ceasefire and address the root causes of the conflict.

Stay tuned for more updates as the situation develops.
