Rapper Ja Rule and his wife Aisha Atkins recently traveled to Ghana to participate in the groundbreaking ceremony for a new classroom block at Nuaso Anglican Primary School in the country’s eastern region. The project is being undertaken in collaboration with the US-based education charity Pencils of Promise.
Ja Rule shared his excitement about the initiative on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of education as a pillar of any community. He expressed gratitude to the Ghanaian people for accepting him and spoke about the lasting impact the new classrooms will have on the local community.
This visit to Ghana comes shortly after Ja Rule’s disappointment over being denied entry to the UK for a performance due to his criminal record. Despite this setback, Ja Rule remains committed to giving back and supporting educational initiatives, as demonstrated by his involvement in the construction of classrooms in Ghana.
