MELISSA – Number six ranked Frisco Wakeland earned a 10-3 win over No. 23 Longview on Thursday at the Class 5A Region II tournament held at the Z Plex Sports Complex.
Longview, making its deepest playoff run since the 2015 season, ends the year with a 20-5 record.
Frisco Wakeland takes on Frisco Centennial in the regional finals on Friday.
