Alabama State football will travel to Legion Field in Birmingham on Saturday for the Magic City Classic to play instate rival Alabama A&M.
The game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT on ESPN+ in the 87th edition of the rivalry.
Alabama State (4-3, 2-2 SWAC) is coming off a 24-9 win over Mississippi Valley State before an idle week. Myles Crawley led the way with 270 passing yards and two touchdowns. Kisean Johnson caught five passes for 116 yards and Jeremiah Hixon had five catches for 96 yards and a touchdown.
Alabama A&M (3-4, 3-1) is on a three-game win streak after beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 34-31. Donovan Eaglin ran for 126 yards while Harold Jemison Jr. scored twice on the ground.
