Medikal and Shatta Wale spotted eating fufu in huge ‘asanka’ after court hearings

Medikal and Shatta Wale were spotted filling their tummies with a sumptuous meal The duo was surrounded by some people who were seen seated that their table Medikal and Shatta Wale were in court earlier that day over their pending cases The two award-winning musicians were spotted eating together in a huge earthenware bowl known locally as ‘asanka’.They were in the company of some friends and members of their management teams as they enjoyed the Ghanaian meal.

Cases against Shatta Wale and Medikal adjourned to January 25
The Accra Circuit Court 4 has adjourned cases involving the state and
dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta
Wale, and Samuel Frimpong also known as Medikal, to January 25, 2022.
Shatta Wale’s lawyer, Jerry Avenorgbo appealed to the court to grant his
client the opportunity to attend some programs outside the country
during the festive season.
Shatta Wale was arrested on October 19, 2021, for faking a gunshot
attack on him and was subsequently charged with causing fear and panic
and false publication of news.
The dancehall artiste was remanded at the Ankaful prison and later
granted a self-recognizance bail at the sum of GH¢100,000.
Pobbi Banson, lawyer for Medikal, also prayed the court to adjourn
proceedings to January 25, 2022, since his client would also be on trips
to perform at events during the Christmas festivities.
The court, presided over by Emmanuel Essandoh granted the request
and adjourned sittings to January 25, 2022.
