Cristiano Ronaldo could win his first-ever World Cup trophy at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, going by the latest prophecy concerning the Manchester United forward.
Ronaldo is set to lead Portugal to his 5th and most likely last World Cup tournament, and the stars are already aligning for the 37-year-old to emerge as a champion.
According to Marca, the prophecy states that the top goalscorer of the most recent European Championship ends up winning the next FIFA World Cup.

Ronaldo finished as Euro 2020 top scorer with 5 goals and going by the recent prophecy, the Manchester United forward should win the World Cup in Qatar with Portugal.
Meanwhile, 37-year-old Ronaldo is looking forward to playing against Brazil in the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, United In Focus reports.
The Manchester United forward, who is already in the training camp, revealed he had joked with teammate Casemiro that the Mundial final would be played between Portugal and Brazil.

Portugal will begin their World Cup campaign against Ghana, before matches against Uruguay and South Korea in the group stage.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ronaldo has been left out of Portugal's squad for the international friendly encounter, against the Super Eagles of Nigeria on November 17.
Fernando Santos, who is the coach of the Portugal national team, confirmed that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently suffering from a stomach bug and won't be available for the match.
Ronaldo and his teammates are currently in camp in Portugal, where they are training ahead of their World Cup campaign in Qatar.
