Real Tamale United (RTU) continued their impressive form in the Division One League with a commanding 2-0 home win over Yapei FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday.

Wisdom Jonas opened the scoring early, converting a 9th-minute penalty, while Blabala Bamon doubled the lead just after the break in the 49th minute. With this result, RTU remains unbeaten in nine consecutive matches and now sits 13 points clear at the top of Zone One A, solidifying their promotion hopes.


Eleven Wonders Strengthen Command in Zone One B

Over in Zone One B, Techiman Eleven Wonders tightened their grip on the summit with a narrow but crucial 1-0 win against Techiman Heroes. The decisive moment came just before halftime when Farouk Ameyaw coolly converted a penalty in the 45th minute.

The victory propels Eleven Wonders to 46 points after 24 games, giving them a solid nine-point advantage over their closest challengers.


Wa Power SC Edges Tamale City to Climb the Table

Meanwhile, Wa Power SC made a significant move up the standings with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Tamale City at the Malik Jabir Stadium. The only goal of the match was scored by Seidu Musah in the 47th minute, lifting Wa Power SC to fourth place with 35 points.
