As area teams attempt to make up the games lost because of Hurricane Ian, there will be Tuesday night football for the second straight week.
Booker High and Bayshore High will make up a Class 2A-District 15 Suburban game Tuesday at Balvanz Stadium.
It will be the second game in five days for both teams. And this is going to be a busy week for both. The Bruins have a game scheduled Friday at Mulberry High. The Tornadoes are playing Wiregrass Ranch at noon on Saturday.
Last week, Southeast High visited Harllee Stadium to take on Palmetto High.
When, where: 7:30 p.m., Friday, Balvanz Stadium, 5401 34th St., Bradenton
History: Booker 7-3
Last year: DNP
The skinny: This is a Class 2A-District 15 Suburban game. ⊠Booker has lost its past two after splitting its first four to open the season. ⊠The Tornadoes have lost all three road games. ⊠Friday in Arcadia, Booker owned a 7-0 lead until the fourth quarter when DeSoto County scored 15 points to go to 2-0 in the district. ⊠Bayshore was blanked for the second time this season. ⊠The Bruins have been outscored 227-22. ⊠This is the second game in five days for both teams.
