The just ended Dancehall Shell Box and Talent Showcase that took place on 11th November inside Events Hub ended up in a rather bloody way with a brawl ensuing between two dancehall artists, Gucci Wale and Gariba.
The event which was organized by Shatta Movement Family in conjunction with Events Hub was graced by a section of Ghana’s iconic reggae and dancehall artists most of who are based in different parts of the nation’s capital Accra.
The jubilant crowd was held spell bound by performances from Rudebwoy Ranking , Konkarah Jahvibes , Gariba and Gucci Wale among several others. The show recorded a needles violentscene shortly after the performance of Gucci Wale. Facetvnewsgathered that a group of guys believed to be members of Gariba’s camp who were of the view that Gucci Wale during his performance used some vulgar words which were insulting to their displeasure confronted him and it resulted to a fight in which Gucci was beaten mercilessly.
When contacted and asked why that happened ,Gariba said his men never attacked Gucci Wale but the latter rather did. He later declined commenting further on the matter.
Gucci Wale on the other hand refused to answer our numerous calls after his first response. So what at all could spark this fight seems to be the question that everyone is asking. Facetvnews will continue digging more to unravel the root of the whole matter.
