Musician Kofi Kinaata is determined to make ‘Made in Taadi’ happen this year, aiming to address past disappointments and displeasure among his fans.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Kinaata expressed his commitment, stating, “As for this year, by hook or crook, the event must happen because my fans were not happy with me last year.”
He emphasized his willingness to use his own resources if necessary, mentioning that he has previously covered costs such as flights and accommodation for musicians traveling from Accra to Takoradi to perform at the event.
Kinaata revealed that he has even canceled profitable shows in the past to prioritize ‘Made in Taadi,’ sometimes running the event at a loss. Despite this, he finds fulfillment in organizing the event because it brings joy to his fans.
Notably, the concert is offered to the public for free, and Kinaata stated that the artists who perform also do not charge him. However, he ensures to provide them with a token of appreciation at the end of the event.
