Sugar Ranking released Praise ft Nana NYC in the year 2005 as a single. This song took the Ghana Music Industry by suprise. This is because the style was new and perculiar unlike the way Ghana has embraced inspirational Dancehall music as at now. Almost 2 decades ago and the song still sounds powerful and mordern.

The masterpiece was recorded, mixed and mastered at the JungleYaad studios for RankingFamily Media. The Beat was produced by Nana Philty in 2002 and was donated to Sugar Ranking as the only potential user by then. The mixing,arrangement and mastering was done by The Rabbi. It was originally produced for Ras Nii Entertainment which was the sustainment foundation of Ranking Family.
